Vier Tage zum zu gehen (Four days to go).

Saturday night, and four days left till we leave. What do you do on a weekend before you leave? For starting, we took care of the yard and arranged for a landscaper to come in and take care of the yard while we are gone since Mark's parents can't do this. We had a housekeeper come in (something I've not had in a long time-what a treat!) and clean up the house. Wash clothes, and check the weather in Germany. Looks like we may need some shorts! Took a nap. Relaxed.

We had dinner tonight at one of my clients homes, the meal and the company were great! I always look forward to hearing from Stan and Janice, we always have a great time when we are with them. Next time our place.

Hopefully we will get into bed before midnight and have time to get ready for the arrival of Mark's parents Sunday. We are more excited than ever!

8 Days to go! (Acht Tage zum zu gehen)

Well, we have 7 full days left to get ready to go and we are both excited. We have read extensively, booked our lodgings and are looking forward to being away. This trip has been planned for over a year. Mark's mother is due to come up this weekend and stay with our dogs while we are away, so baths will be in order before she arrives and we have to get the house ready for her.

I have learned some German, und Ich sprechen ein bisschen Deutsch jetzt, but it is difficult to retain what you have learned without someone to speak with. Hopefully it will just click in!

We look forward to commenting on our trip, and will keep all informed.
