Hey Guys,
The days have been eventful since the last blog. We are now sitting in the CRC on concourse E at Hartsfield. I went through security no problem.....Mark took three times! I felt that it was just payback, everytime we are here at the airport my Insulin Pump sets off the alarms and this time...NO! I went through with a grin on my face and just smiled when no alarms went off. I looked behind me and BEEP +&%$@. Mark finally got through, but I'm sure he now knows how I feel when we go to the airport! By the way, The Crown Room is wunderbar, nice seats, quiet, free drinks and a clean bathroom not to mention free wireless internet!
Last Sunday Mark was in the Piedmont ER, we had dinner Saturday night at a friends house and he ended up with food stuck in his esophagus. Turns out he has the great American disease like the rest of us: GERD. Anyway, he's all fixed up and on medication and he has been great ever since.
Monday I turned over my business to my associate, I'm sure that she will do well. I'm hoping I won't hear from any clients while we are in Europe.
Tuesday: Spent the day finishing up packing and playing with our dogs. They figured out last night that something was going on. Nothing like a depressed Scottie!
Today: Everything has gone well besides the incident at Security. We are relaxing and looking forward to our flight. The KLM agent checking us in was great. By the way, security at the "T" gates is much shorter than going to the main security. The agent at KLM told us even with Business Class we would get through quicker at the "T" gates. Thanks KLM!
Bis Spater!
Pat & Mark
