Munchen/Nurnberg Tag Funf

Hey out there in the USA!

How's everyone doing? We had another fine day, das wetter war dewerked (the weather was cloudy) and cool and since Nurnberg was supposed to be warm and sunny we decided to go. We lounged around this morning, ate fruhstuck und trinke kaffee. We caught the ICE 1508 at 11:22 and got to Nurnberg at 12:32.

We headed for the Dokumentationszentrum Reichsparteitagsgelande. Germany has done a great job of documenting National Socialism and this museum was sehr gut! From the beginning to the end it's all documented here. We spent 3 hours going through the exhibits, and then walked to the Zeppelin field.. It's a hike from the museum and we were quite disappointed to see trash everywhere! They evidentally had some sort of festival or soccer game and the park and the rally grounds were trashed. They were busy cleaning up but, what a disappointment to see this in such a beautiful place. We got to the Zeppelin Tribune and climbed up and took some pictures. After we were through we headed back to the Altstadt and decided to have dinner. Mark had Cordon Blue and I had Bavarian pot roast. Dinner was very good and we headed back to the hauptbahnoff. We caught ICE 721 with 2 minutes to spare at 18:02! We got back into Munchen at 19:04, the highest speed today:289 kilometers!

Trains here in Germany are very good, always clean and tend to be on time unless there is a problem. Very different from Amsterdam! Our country really needs to learn how to set up mass trasit like it is here, Mark and I are very impressed with their system.

Es regnet heute Abend mit donner (it is raining tonight with thunder) and the weather is going to get cooler. We plan to go to the castles tomorrow, I hope that we are able to get some clearing but the forcast is not hopeful. Hope everyone is well, send us a comment!

Hi,

Sounds like you are really seeing the sights, enjoying the food, beer and having a great time.
Hope you are taking many pictures.

It has been very hot here in Atlanta. In the ninety degrees. Today was a little better and Saturday is supposed to be 78 degrees F. Not much rain, we are still pretty dry. Rained a little bit last night.

I have a little bunny that lives in the bushes in my front yard. I've seen him three times now. He is so small and cute. Not much bigger than a large squirrel.

Going to work for the next three days.
I'm going to catch up on today's blog as I see there is another entry.
Love,
Gina, Kday & Belle
